Recycled Art Show Criteria
Anything goes! This includes two - and three-dimensional works, including but not limited to: paintings, sculpture, pottery, collage, glasswork, metalwork and stonework. At least 50% of each piece of art must be comprised of recycled (discarded/found) materials, manmade or organic.
Entries selected for exhibit by the Recycled Art Show committee will meet the following criteria:
1) Work contains at least 50% recycled material.
2) Due to indoor space limitations, three-dimensional work generally must fit into a space of two feet by two feet (2’ by 2.’). Larger works may be pre-approved by the committee.
3) Work is appropriate for family viewing.
Artists may submit up to three pieces for consideration, space limits the number of entries we can accept; therefore, the Art Show Committee reserves the right to close the entry process at any time, based on the number of submissions.
The indoor art space will have tables for display, although artists may wish to bring their own display stand or easel. Light weight pieces may be hung to the wall it has a secure hook or gallery wire, while heavier paintings or collages will require the artists to provide their own stands or easels.
