Class Description:
An image copied on fabric that is outline stitched onto the fabric using a DMC embroidery floss.  After the image is entirely outlined with the color of their choice, they will color in the image and set it in the fabric.  Hence, making a patch that can be ironed on to a pillow top, tee shirt or sweatshirt, combine with other squares and place into a quilt top.  It can also be added to other squares to form a full sized quilt, or make a card using it. Students receive and extra applique to take home with them.

Peg Gowen Biography
I have worked for the Husqvarna Sewing Machine Company as a educator, dealer, manager and presenter for approximately 30 years.  I was trained and educated by their international education staff throughout my employment with them.  As a educator for the Viking Sewing Machine Company, I traveled the United States demonstrating and teaching the many new techniques using the new technology creating beautiful garments, quilts and many other projects.  I have studied with Ricky Tims, artist, designer and musician in his studio four times over the years.  I am a certified Sulky educator.  Sulky of America is a leader in the sewing industry for a total of 25 years.
