Making an Ikebana Flower Arrangement

• Instructor: Duffy Boyd
• Session 1:  9am – 12noon
   Beginners-no experience necessary
• Session 2:  1pm - 4pm
   Some Floral experience suggested
• Artistic medium used: Fresh flowers arranged in containers
• Class fee: $40 each session      
• Materials: Provided by teacher
Student can take their flowers to make arrangements at home and will be able to purchase containers.
• Student age requirements: Teen/Adult

Class Description:
Morning Class: 2 Moribana arrangements (upright and slanting)
Afternoon Class: 1 Moribana (round and oval) and 1 Nageire
(a tall cylinder)

Duffy Boyd Biography

Duffy Boyd is currently a Junior Master in the Ichiyo School of Ikebana. She studied under Valerie Eccleston, Executive Master of the Ichiyo School. She teaches in St. Mary's County and is President of the St. Mary's County Garden Club  Duffy has exhibited at Art Blooms at Annmarie Garden, and also at the National Aboretum.
