Art Walk 2019 Artist Registration
The 6th annual Art Walk is
September 6th, 2019!
Art Walk is an important component to the Leonardtown Arts & Entertainment designation celebration as it serves to showcase work created by local artists as part of a fun contest and multi-location exhibit. Registered artwork will be displayed in businesses throughout Leonardtown from September 4th to September 30th. On First Friday, September 6th, the public can cast their ballots and vote on three of their favorite pieces! We will have fabulous prizes for the winning artists, and also a prize for one lucky voter (drawn at random).
First place winner will receive a cash prize of $100 and an article in the County Times, second and third place will each receive a gift certificate to a restaurant in Leonardtown.
Drop off your pre-registered work at the Arts Council Gallery (22660 Washington Street) between Wednesday, August 1st and Saturday, August 18th.
Participating Businesses: If you have an artist of your own for your business or artwork already there, then there is no drop off to the Arts Council. The artist must still pre-register their piece.
Want to sell your artwork on the Square in Leonardtown on A&E First Friday? Register to be a vendor. There is no fee!
Deadline for registration is Sunday, August 18, 2019.
